There are four Fire Departments that provide fire services to the Township. Fire Inspection services have been contracted out to a private provider.
Dawn-Euphemia Fire Department
The Dawn-Euphemia Fire Department is a volunteer fire department that provides fire protection to the former Dawn portion of the Township. View the Township's Fire Protection Policy.

Chatham-Kent Fire Department (Bothwell Fire Station)
The Township purchases fire suppression services from the Municipality of Chatham-Kent. The Bothwell Fire Station provides fire protection to the southern part of the former Township of Euphemia (east of Sydenham River and south of Bentpath Line. The Bothwell Fire station is staffed by volunteer firefighters.

Inwood Fire Department
The Inwood Fire Department is a volunteer fire department that provides fire protection services for the westerly portion of the former Township of Euphemia (west and north of the Sydenham River and east of Forest Road).

Alvinston Fire Department
The Alvinston Fire Department is a volunteer fire department that provides fire protection services for the eastern portion of the former Township of Euphemia (east of the Sydenham River and north of Bentpath Line)

Fire Inspection Services
The Township has entered into an agreement with an independent service provider for fire inspection services.

Open Air Burning Permission
Open air burning is permitted in the rural areas of the Township subject to submission of a notification form and compliance with the Township’s Open Air Burning By-law. View the Township's Open Air Burning By-law.
