The Township administers the provincial Tile Loan Program. Through this program, landowners can access loan funding through the Township, for the installation of tile drainage systems on their agricultural land.
Tile loans are currently available at a 6% interest rate for a ten-year term. The maximum amount of loan available to an individual farmer in one year is $50,000 or 75% of the value of the tile drainage work performed, whichever is the lesser. Funds are made available on a first come first served basis.
The Township has appointed Tile Inspectors for carrying out inspections and completing the necessary forms. Property owners interested in participating in the program should contact the Municipal Office.
